Problem with microsoft error?

I have noticed today that everytime i click onto internet explorer i keep getting a microsoft error message. We have encountered a probem have to close send report / don't send. This happens when i sign into msn and try to check my hotmail. I noticed a change after i downloaded the latest critical patches from microsoft i use windows xp. Any sugestions?

Try System Restore, to restore your files and settings to what they were before the update, i have a few times and its worked well.

Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore

Restore to a day or two before the update see if it works.

Note: you can always reverse the restore by going to system restore and select ''Undo last restore''

Before going to the 'last known good' step, I would try some basic browser maintenance -

TOSS the Internet temp files - corrupt temp or cookies can crash IE with little effort.

''History'' is not that big a deal, but the temporary Internet files can number in the tens of thousands, if you are not careful and allocate too much space to that cache. It is needed in some very rare cases - but deleting the files and restarting the OS could help.

You could also have competing\conflicting browser add-ins - evaluate them and deactivate any that may conflict. And again, restart...
