What took Microsoft so long??!!?

Has anyone noticed that with each release of Windows, the time it takes for it to release doubles. It started with Windows 95 then it took a ridiculous amount of time to relese 98 but the name is why i guss, but mainly Vista, it took a ridiculous 5 friggin years to come out with it and there is NO INNOVATION IN VISTA it just now gets features that Mac OS X has had for 5 years (what a coincidence) Apple comes out with a new os every one to two years. I'll bet it'l take 10 years to come out with the next version WTF. and Mac OS X 10.5 will be abal to run on macs as old as 7 years COPY THAT MICROSOFT will microsoft EVER come out with something of their own and innovative like apple which has innovation spraying out of Steve's head!!!

And that is why open source rocks baby. Innovation on an almost monthly basis. So what has taken you so long to code-up your own OS? Then people can take cheap shots at your products without the benefit of your great mind and inside information.(facts)
Actually Microsoft revealed the new features it supposedly stole from Apple long before Apple unveiled them. So unless you're saying Microsoft can see the future, that isn't true. And no, Apple does not release a new OS every 1-2 years, they just update the version of the current OS. 10.4 -%26gt; 10.5 is not a new operating system.
